California Sweepstakes Rules (SUBMIT ENTRY BELOW RULES)

Introduction and Purpose

These Official Rules govern the Feast It Forward Chocolate Bar Sweepstakes (“Promotion”), conducted by Feast It Forward, LLC (“Sponsor”) in partnership with [Chocolate Vendor Name]. The purpose of this Promotion is to offer participants a chance to win two tickets to the restaurant opening night and dinner for two (excluding alcohol) by entering through either the purchase of a chocolate bar or a free alternative method. This sweepstakes is intended to comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the State of California, including requirements for equal opportunity and no purchase necessary. Participation in this Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Official Rules.

Eligibility

The Promotion is open to legal residents of California who are at least 21 years of age at the time of entry. Entry Methods

Each purchased chocolate bar entitles the entrant to two entries in the sweepstakes.

No purchase is necessary to enter or win. To enter without purchase, scan the QR code displayed on the official marketing poster at participating locations or visit [website URL] directly. Complete the online registration form as instructed. Each free entry via the online sign-up entitles the entrant to one entry in the sweepstakes.

All entries, whether by purchase or free method, must be received during the Promotion Period as specified on the website. Limit one free entry per person; multiple entries via purchase are permitted, subject to availability. All entries must be submitted by the individual entrant; automated or bulk entries are prohibited and will be disqualified.

Prize Description

One (1) winner will receive two (2) tickets to Feast It Forward’s restaurant opening night event and dinner for two at the restaurant (excluding alcohol). The prize is non-transferable, non-assignable, and no cash or other substitution will be offered. The winner is solely responsible for any expenses not expressly stated as part of the prize, including transportation and any additional costs. Alcohol is expressly excluded from the prize.

Odds of Winning

The odds of winning the Feast It Forward Chocolate Bar Sweepstakes depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Each purchased chocolate bar entitles the entrant to two entries in the sweepstakes, while each free entry via online sign-up entitles the entrant to one entry. For example, if 100 chocolate bars are sold and 100 free entries are received online, there will be a total of 300 entries in the drawing. The odds of winning for any individual entry are therefore 1 in the total number of entries received. Purchasing a chocolate bar increases the number of entries for that participant but does not guarantee winning. All entries, whether by purchase or free method, have an equal chance of being selected in the random drawing.

Winner Selection and Notification

The winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. The drawing will be conducted by the Sponsor or its designated agent on or about [Drawing Date]. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Official Rules or is suspected of tampering or fraud.

No Purchase Necessary and Alternative Entry

Publicity and Privacy

By entering the Feast It Forward Chocolate Bar Sweepstakes, participants agree that, if selected as a winner, they may be required to participate in publicity related to the Promotion, including the use of their name, likeness, and statements for promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Personal information collected in connection with the Promotion will be used solely for the administration of the sweepstakes and will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Official Rules and the Promotion are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising out of or relating to the Promotion or these Official Rules shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California.

Additional Terms

Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Promotion at any time for any reason, including but not limited to fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control that impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion. These Official Rules are binding on all participants and supersede any prior communications or representations regarding the Promotion. If any provision of these rules is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Official Rules Acceptance

Participation in the Feast It Forward Chocolate Bar Sweepstakes constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Official Rules. All decisions of the Sponsor regarding the Promotion and interpretation of these rules are final and binding in all respects.
